One of the other amazing things about this brand is that their products can be used for such a wide variety of tasks. Robot Coupe food processors are designed for high-speed and quality fruit or vegetable processing. They can be used for everything from making fresh fruit and vegetable juices, to pureeing soups and even kneading dough for bread!

Here are a few of the functions of a Robot Coupe food processor:

  • Slicing
  • Pureeing
  • Mixing
  • Grinding
  • Chopping
  • Julienning
  • Shredding
  • Kneading

What Does a Robot Coupe Food Processor Come With?

To perform these tasks, many models come with a continuous feed attachment and all models come with a cutter bowl attachment. They often come with an assortment of discs and a blade designed specifically for the volume they are made for. Some also have special features like scraper arms and timers which are great for precision cooking.

Furthermore, some machines offer multiple speeds while others use just one – it all depends on what kind of product you want at the end! And while some other brands might require that you buy additional items separately, every single Robot Coupe model comes equipped with everything needed right out of the box.

There are some models that don’t include discs, but these usually have other features that make up for this. Of course, don’t get me wrong, you CAN buy additional attachments if you want to, but you don’t have to.

How do Robot Coupe Food Processors Work?

A Robot Coupe food processor has a powerful motor that is used to run the blades. It also comes with an adjustable speed setting depending on what you are trying to make. All of these components work together seamlessly to help turn your fruit or vegetables into exactly what you need, quickly and easily!

What are the Different Types of Robot Coupe Food Processors?

So, before we get into the individual models of the advanced processing machine, let’s talk about the different types. There are four main types of Robot Coupe food processors:

Cutter

The cutter-type food processor is compact, making it easy to store in cabinets or on shelves. It comes with different blades that are suitable for chopping, shredding, mixing, and kneading. It includes the cutter bowl attachment as standard and can perform all of these tasks quickly and efficiently.

The processor has a speedy 3000 rpm speed, so it can even produce smooth sauces or mousses. It’s mainly used by caterers, or in small restaurants and shops.

Slicer

The slicer has a wider range of functionality than the cutter. Despite its name, it can not only slice, but grate, ripple cut, dice waffle, julienne, and puree. Best suites to small catering establishments, restaurants, and shops, it comes with an impressive 48 different discs for all of these functions, and also comes with the vegetable preparations attachment.

Cutter and Slicer in One

This handy 2-in-1 device combines the best of both eh cutter and slicer above. It comes with both the vegetable and the cutter bowl attachment and a wide selection of discs to match its impressive range of functionality. With this machine, you can slice, mix, knead, ripple cut, julienne, grate, dice, shred, chop, and even make french fries! If you own a catering establishment or restaurant, this machine will definitely speed up your efficiency.

Blixer

A blender and a mixer in one, this type of Robot Coupe food processors are great at transforming raw ingredients into liquidized foods. A Blixer can easily prepare pureed, raw, semi-liquid, liquid, and pasty foods. Primarily used in hospitals, nursing homes, or restaurants, it comes with the blender mixing bowl and is great for shredding, chopping, and mixing.

What Are The Different Models of Robot Coupe Food Processors?

So now that we’ve had a look at the four different varieties of Robot Coup, let’s dive into the models in more detail:

R201 XL

The Robot Coupe R201 XL is a high-performance food processor that is perfect for heavy commercial use. It comes with a powerful 550-watt motor, and the machine weighs only 10 kilograms, making it easy to move around if necessary. It’s capable of slicing, grating, julienning, chopping, kneading, and grinding – it can even prepare sauces.

The R201 XL has an extra-large half-moon hopper that can hold up to six salad tomatoes in one go, and blitz in a matter of minutes! It also has a cylindrical hopper, ideal for precisely cutting long vegetables like carrots. The composite cutter bowl is a decent 2.9-liter capacity and is capable of a range of functionality. And it comes with a patented blade, pulse control, and an included stainless steel smooth blade, 2mm slicer, and 2mm grater.

With its sturdy stainless steel blades, this model offers great value for money.

Key Features

  • Induction motor
  • 550 wattage
  • 1500 rpm speed
  • Composite 2.9 L cutter bowl

R201 XL Ultra

The Robot Coupe R201 XL Ultra is very similar to the standard 201 XL described above. It also features a powerful 550-watt induction motor and weighs a similar 11 kg.

It has the same half-moon hopper as well as a cylindrical hopper for adding longer-shaped vegetables easily. It has a patented blade, pulse control, and a stainless steel smooth blade, a 2mm slicer, and a 2mm grater that you can use to easily prepare meals in minutes.

But the main difference is the cutter bowl. Instead of being made of plastic, the Ultra features a stainless steel model which is much more durable. This means, that the bowl is ultimately more likely to last longer, and give you more value for your money.

Capable of all the functionality of the 201 XL – slicing, grating, julienning, chopping, kneading, and grinding – this model has all of the features you’d need in a professional food processor!

Key Features

  • Induction motor
  • 550 wattage
  • 1500 rpm speed
  • 1 blade, 1 slicer, and 1 grater disc included
  • Stainless steel 2.9 L cutter bowl

R211 XL Ultra

R211 XL Ultra

The Robot Coupe 211 XL Ultra is another incredibly multi-functional machine. Although it was designed for veg prep, it’s suitable for all-around use and can easily chop, emulsify, slice, grate, ripple cut, and julienne.

At 13 kg this model is slightly heavier than the Ultra R201 XL described above and it features the same 550-watt induction motor and 1500 rpm blade speed. In the box, you’ll find a half-moon hopper, a cylindrical hopper, and the same upgraded stainless steel 2.9-liter cutter bowl. It also comes with a stainless steel smooth blade, 2mm grater, and 2mm slicer.

The main difference with the 211, is the slightly heavier weight and the ejection which is continuous as opposed to in bowl like the other two models. This means that you can add additional ingredients t the bowl while your Robot Coupe is still blitzing. This continuous feed can save a lot of time in your food preparation process.

Key Features

  • Induction motor
  • 550 wattage
  • 1500 rpm speed
  • Stainless steel 2.9 L cutter bowl
  • 1 blade, 1 slicer, and 1 grater disc included
  • Continuous ejection feature

R301

Robot Coupe 301 ultra series D

The biggest upgrade so far, the Robot Coupe 301 certainly brings a much more significant change to the table. The multi-function machine comes with a powerful 650-watt induction motor and weighs a chunky 20 kg. It has the same two hoppers in terms of shape, but the half-moon hopper is also a different capacity. The larger 1.6-liter size means it was designed for much bulkier vegetables like cabbages, lettuces, and onions.

The cutter bowl is 3.7 liters as opposed to 2.9, so you get significantly more space, and sticks with the continuous feed. However, this model does drop back down to composite plastic construction as opposed to stainless steel. It also comes with a composite motor base to match.

The included attachments have also been treated to an upgrade. You get three discs with the 301 instead of two: a 2mm slicer and a 4mm slicer, and you also get a 2mm grater and a 6mm grater. It also comes with a stainless steel smooth blade and pulse control for more precise processing.

Furthermore, the bowls and lids are removable which makes them much easier to clean.

Key Features

  • Induction motor
  • 650 wattage
  • 1500 rpm speed
  • Composite 3.7-liter cutter bowl with continuous ejection feature
  • Removable bowls and lids for easy cleaning.
  • 1 blade, 2 slicers, and 2 grater discs included

R301 Ultra

robot coupe R301

The 301 Ultra was a similar upgrade to what the 201 Ultra was to the 201. Most of the functionality of the food processor is the same – the same motor wattage, the same composite motor base, the same 1500 rpm blade speed. It also features the same larger 1.6-liter half-moon hopper and the same increased number of disc attachments. It also has the same larger 3.7-liter cutter bowl size – but this is where you do get a few notable differences.

The bowl is once again made from stainless steel, which means it’s a lot more durable and will last a lot longer. Strangely enough, this also seems to make it slightly lighter as it only weighs 19 kg as opposed to 20 kg.

Key Features

  • Induction motor
  • 650 wattage
  • 1500 rpm speed
  • Stainless steel 3.7-liter cutter bowl with continuous ejection feature
  • Removable bowls and lids for easy cleaning.
  • 1 blade, 2 slicers, and 2 grater discs included

R401

Another significant upgrade, the R401 model Robot Coupe food processor. Featuring a 700-watt motor, this model is much more powerful than the previous two. It also features a much larger cutter bowl at a whopping 4.5 liters!

This is equipped with a continuous ejection system, so you can easily add ingredients to the machine mid-processing. The large cutter bowl is made from durable stainless steel and matches the metal motor base. The bowl is designed with a detachable lid, making it easy to use.

You get all of the previous discs and blades included – a 2mm slicer and a 4mm slicer, and you also get a 2mm grater and a 6mm grater. And it still features the larger 1.6-liter half moon hopper and handy cylindrical hopper, but these are made from a much thicker and more durable plastic than the previous models, giving the processer an overall sleeker look.

Similar to the 301 Ultra, the 401 also has a detachable bowl and lid for easy cleaning. But, unlike the previous version, it has an automated lever-operated restart for convenience and faster performance. It’s also slightly lighter still at 18 kg.

Key Features

  • Induction motor
  • 700 wattage
  • 1500 rpm speed
  • Stainless steel 4.5-liter cutter bowl with continuous ejection feature.
  • Automated restart function for convenience and faster processing
  • Removable bowls and lids for easy cleaning.
  • 1 blade, 2 slicers, and 2 grater discs included

R402

The R402 Robot Coupe food processor is where the brand changes things up a bit. This model has a more powerful still 750-watt motor, and it’s also the largest and heaviest of the models so far at 21 kg.

Built for a range of functionality, it can process a huge range of ingredients. It also has slightly more functions than previous models: it can chop, dice, slice, knead, grind, grate, ripple cut, julienne, blend sauces, emulsify, and even french fry.

It’s also the first Robot Coupe food processor model to feature multiple speed options. It has a single-phase 500 rpm or a three-phase 750 rpm speed for vegetable prep functionality. The cutter function features the familiar 1500 rpm that we’ve seen on other models.

The bowl is the same 4.5-liter capacity stainless steel model we saw on the 401, and it also has the same size 1.6-liter half-moon and cylindrical hoppers as previous models. The stainless steel smooth blade is also included – as seems to be the standard – but the disc attachments are different. This time, they include a 2mm slicer, a 3 mm grater, and 8x8x8 dicing equipment.

Key Features

  • 750 wattage
  • Multiple speed options for better functionality – 500 rpm or 750 rpm
  • Stainless steel 4.5-liter cutter bowl with continuous ejection feature.
  • Removable bowls and lids for easy cleaning.
  • 1 blade, 1 slicer disc, 1 grater disc, and dicing equipment included

R402 V.V.

The R402 V.V has both positive and negative changes. First of all, the motor is a powerful 1000 watt speed, making it suitable for a range of food processing tasks. The cutter bowl is a large and hefty stainless steel one at a generous 4.5 liters in capacity, with the usual continuous ejection feature.

This model also has an automated restart function for convenience and faster performance, a removable lid for easy cleaning, and a large 1.6 liter half moon hopper. The stainless steel smooth blade is included but, with this model, that’s as far as attachment inclusions go as it doesn’t come with any discs.

It does, however, feature much more speed options than the previous model. It has 300 to 1000 rpm for the vegetable slicer, and 300 to 3500 rpm speed for the cutter. This opens up a world of options for chefs, allowing them to process delicate fruits and vegetables at slower speeds while opting for the higher speed to produce quicker results. It is also the bulkiest model yet though, at 22 kg.

Key Features

  • 1000 wattage
  • Powerful induction motor
  • Removable lid for easy cleaning.
  • Stainless steel smooth blade included – no disc attachments.
  • Stainless steel 4.5-liter cutter bowl with continuous ejection feature.
  • Automated restart function for convenience and faster processing
  • Multiple speed options – 300 to 1000 rpm or 300 to 3500 rpm

R502

R502

The R502 Robot Coupe food processor is the first three-phase model to be introduced. It has a range of different upgrades and, surprisingly a few downgrades too. The first is the 900-watt motor – slightly less powerful than the previous model. And similarly, it doesn’t come with any discs as standard and these have to be purchased as an add-on. But that’s where the downgrades end.

Designed for an even larger range of functionality, this machine is suitable for restaurants serving up to 300 people per night. It can chop, emulsify, slice, grate, julienne, knead, grind, dice, french fry, and create smooth sauces.

The cutter bowl is the biggest yet at a 5.9-liter capacity with continuous ejection. It’d made from stainless steel for added durability and features a soft-touch handle for grip and comfort. It also features an adjustable speed range of between 750 rpm and 1500 rpm.

The hoppers are also much larger. The 1.6-liter half moon has been upgraded to a 2.2 liter. it features the same cylindrical hopper as all the other models, but also comes with a 39 mm exactitube pusher.

This is the first model in the series to include an attached scraper arm, allowing you to scrape the lid and edges of the bowl without stopping the machine. Plus, it also features a countdown and stopwatch timer for maximum recipe precision.

Key Features

  • 900 wattage
  • Large 5.9-liter stainless steel cutter bowl with continuous ejection feature.
  • Removable lid for easy cleaning.
  • Stainless steel smooth blade included – no disc attachments.
  • 750 rpm to 1500 rpm speed
  • Larger 2.2-liter half-moon hopper, and cylindrical hopper, and a 39 mm exactitube pusher.
  • Soft-touch handle for a comfortable grip.
  • Attached scraper arm to scrape the lid without stopping the machine
  • Countdown timer included

R502 V.V.

R502 V.V.

The R502 V.V. is almost identical to the R502 – but only to look at s there are quite a few other major changes. The primary one is that the motor jumps right up to a 1500 watt power – the most powerful on a Robot Coupe food processor yet. It’s also single-phase again, instead of the three-phase version we saw in the R502.

However, there are many similarities. The large 5.9-liter stainless steel bowl remains the same, and the half-moon hopper is also the larger 2.2-liter size. It comes with a 39 mm exactitube pusher, metal motor base, included stainless steel blade, continuous ejection feature, and comfort handle.

It also features the included scraper arm and handy timer that we saw in the previous model. It also features several different speed settings. In fact, it has the same ones that feature on the 402 V.V.: 300 to 1000 rpm for the vegetable slicer, and 300 to 3500 rpm speed for the cutter.

Key Features

  • 1500 wattage
  • Large 5.9-liter stainless steel cutter bowl with continuous ejection feature.
  • Removable lid for easy cleaning.
  • Stainless steel smooth blade included – no disc attachments.

  • Countdown timer included
  • 300 to 1000 rpm speed setting for the vegetable slicer, and 300 to 3500 for the cutter

R752

R752

With a few changes from the previous model, the R752 is the second three-phase model in the series. It’s the largest of the lot and comes with the largest motor. The whopping 1800 watt beast is capable of powering through even the toughest ingredients.

The R752 also comes with 750 rpm to 1500 rpm speed settings, pulse control for precision, and a metal motor base. The cutter bowl is also the largest yet at a 7.5-liter capacity, and it’s made from durable stainless steel for long-lasting cutting. It also features the comfort handle and continuous ejection of previous models.

It once again comes with a cylindrical hopper and a 39 mm exactitube pusher. The half-moon hopper is also the largest yet at 4.4 liters. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with any discs, however, it features the best blade on any model we’ve seen yet. A stainless steel detachable, adjustable smooth blade is included in the box.

You’ll also find the handy scraper arm and countdown timer for easy, precise cooking.

Key Features

  • 1800 wattage
  • Large 7.5-liter stainless steel cutter bowl with continuous ejection feature.
  • Removable lid for easy cleaning.

It has a large cutter bowl at a capacity of up to 7.5-liters, with the same removable lid and continuous ejection feature. Just like the R752, it comes with an attached scraper arm – perfect for easily scraping food off the side without stopping your machine. The countdown timer is included too so you can time cooking perfectly every time.

It also has a cylindrical hopper and the largest half-moon hopper like previous models at 4.4-liters. It also comes with the exactitube pusher, metal motor base, and stainless steel, detachable, adjustable smooth blade. The main difference between this one and the previous model is the speed settings. The 752 V.V. runs at 300 to 3500 rpm for the cutter and 300 to 1000 rpm for the vegetable slicer.

Key Features

  • 1500 wattage
  • Large 7.5-liter stainless steel cutter bowl with continuous ejection feature.

What Should You Look for in a Robot Coupe Food Processor?

So, now that we’ve gone through all of the Robot Coupe food processor models, let’s take a look at what you should consider before purchasing one.

Size

Size is a very important thing to consider before purchasing a Robot Coupe. As you can see from above, the sizes of the different models can vary drastically, and this can also have a dramatic impact on the price.

Before deciding on a purchase, you’ll want to make sure that you’ve chosen something that is both large enough for what you currently need it for and fits comfortably in your kitchen. You may also want to think about scalability – will you need to purchase another one if your restaurant or catering business grows?

Capacity

Another thing to consider is the capacity of your food processor. If you’re running a catering business, you’ll want something that can process hundreds of pounds in one day and handle large batches on demand. But if it’s just for domestic use or small restaurant businesses – then smaller capacities may be suitable too!

Efficiency

This refers to both energy efficiency and efficiency from a productivity point of view. Make sure to check the energy ratings on any piece of catering equipment before you buy it, as this can have a massive impact on how much it costs to run long term.

Also, think about the efficiency of your kitchen. Your food processor should speed up your cooking process, so it’s important to find one that fits in with the rest of your kitchen and equipment.

Motor Performance

The motor is one of the most important parts of a food processor. Make sure to check its wattage and what speed settings it has before you buy it – this will affect how much power your machine can put out, which affects processing time.

Ease of Cleaning

Ease of Cleaning

Cleaning is an essential part of running a kitchen. And difficulty to clean appliances not only make this process more tedious but can take up an awful lot of time. Make sure to purchase a food processor that is easy to clean – not just the removable parts but also any other nooks and crannies!

Safety Features

Safety is one of the most important things to consider when purchasing catering equipment. Make sure that your food processor has all the relevant safety features, including automatic shut-off and lid lock function.

Extra Attachments

As we’ve seen above, some models come with attachments included in their purchase while others do not – so keep this in mind before you buy! Do you want discs included or would you rather buy a larger model and purchase your attachments separately?

Features

If a timer and a scraper arm sound like essential features that you need, then look for a model which has them included. Similarly, with any other features of the various Robot Coupe food processor models, make sure to look through the list of features and see which ones you need.

High-Quality Bowl

There are two main varieties of bowls in these types of food processors – composite plastic or stainless steel. Stainless steel bowls are more durable and also last longer as they don’t break as easily, whereas composite plastic is more affordable.

Price

Price is another essential thing to consider before buying any catering equipment. Make sure that your desired model has all the necessary functions for a fair price, so you can get both values for money and peace of mind!

Warranty

Last but not least, make sure you check the warranty on your new Robot Coupe food processor. You’ll want to make sure that it’s a good one with adequate protection in case anything goes wrong!
